Midwest District Online Formation

This group of modules was originally created for members of the Midwest District in the United States as a six year cycle with a common introduction. It is required of all its members of the Midwest District. Others may use the modules and collect certificates, participate in discussions, etc, with the knowledge that these modules were created for a specific group. If the source material is not relevant to you or your community, feel free to substitute more appropriate sources.

The six modules are designed as two parts for each year corresponding with the academic calendars used by our ministries. Each module therefore has a semester one and a semester two. Semester one focus on De La Salle's journey while semester two attempts to make it more personal. Each module consists of three actions: interaction with source material, personal reflection on those materials, and most importantly a community discussion. Each semester should take no longer than 3-5 hours, including reflection and discussion.
